첼리스트 황윤정은 선화예고를 졸업하고, 연세대학교 음악대학을 4년 전액 실기 장학생으로 졸업하였다.(사사 : 현민자, 김철호) 그 후 Julius Berger를 사사하며 독일 마인츠 국립음대 최고연주자과정(Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Konzertexamen)을 거쳐 독일 아우구스부르크 국립음대(Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg) 최고연주자과정(Meisterklassendiplom)을 졸업하였다.
독주자로서 뿐만 아니라 실내악, 오케스트라 등 많은 연주 경험을 쌓고 있는 황윤정은 선화실내악콩쿨, 부산 콩쿨에서 입상하였고, 서울시립 청소년 오케스트라, 연세대 오케스트라, 연세 챔버 수석과 코리안 심포니 객원수석을 역임하였으며, M. Rostropovich, J. Starker, B. Greenhouse,  S. Palm, A. Noras, V. Erben, T. Tsutsumi, E. Dindo, P. Roczek, 조영창, S. Forck 등의 마스터 클래스에서 참가하여 솔로 연주와 실내악 연주로 기량을 인정받은 바 있다. 모스크바 챔버 오케스트라, 연세대 오케스트라, 함부르크 심포니, 서울 의대 오케스트라 초청 솔리스트로 협연하였고, 독일 Eckelshausen 국제음악축제, Augsburg 예술의 밤 음악축제, Salzburg Sommerakademie Festspiele 교수 연주회, 한국 케냐 수교 40주년 기념음악회, 꼬스트 홀 주최 트리오 음악회, Arona 국제음악제, 2008 Ballet Expo Seoul 등에 초청되어 연주를 하였다.
세계적인 여류 작곡가 소피아 구바이둘리나(S. Gubaidulina)와 함께 독일 Augsburg St. Ulrich 에서 개최된 현대음악제(주제 : Christliche Symbolik in der Musik Gubaidulina)에서 그녀의 작품 “Am Rande des Abgrundes” für 7 Celli und 2 Aquaphone를 함께 연주하였고, 구바이둘리나와 함께한 녹음 작업은 음반 레이블 Wergo에서 CD로 발매되었다.
또한 독일 Augsburg Parktheater im Kurhaus의 음악회에서 Sikorski에서 출판된 빅토르 수슬린 (V. Suslin)의 작품 ‘Chanson contre raison’ Sonata for Cello Solo를 연주하고 수슬린에게 `타고난 재능을 지닌 연주자`라는 평을 받은 바 있다.
2006년에는 음악저널이 주체하는 제16회 신인음악상을 수상하였고, 2007년 한국문화예술위원회 신진예술가로 선정되었으며, 2009년 독주회는 이탈리아 대사관과 이탈리아 문화원이 주최하는 ‘한국 속의 이탈리아’ 프로젝트의 일원으로 성공적인 반응을 얻었다.
이외 아미 앙상블, 향음 앙상블 등의 다수의 실내악 연주와 아시아 현대 음악제, 대한민국 실내악 작곡제전, DCMA 현대 음악회, 21세기악회, Korean Music Expo 등의 현대음악제에서 다수의 창작작품을 연주하였고 서울 교대, 한세대, 협성대 강사를 역임하였다.       
현재 서울바로크합주단 단원, W 필하모닉 오케스트라 첼로 수석, 연세대 평생교육원, 선화예중․고, 계원예중, 서울 바로크 아카데미 출강하며, 연세대학교 음악학 박사과정(사사 : 양성원) 중에 있다.

 

Cellist Yoon J. Hwang graduated Sun-hwa Arts High School; also she received her B.M. degree from Yonsei University with a full scholarship for four academic years. After the commencement from the college of music, she was started to her Konzertexamen course under professor Julius Berger at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität, Mainz as the one of the youngest new coming students for the school history. Later Miss Hwang successfully finished her Meisterklassendiplom at Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg in Germany.
Not only a finest soloist but also one of the prominent members of various chamber ensembles, she got prizes Sun-hwa Chamber Music Competition, Busan Music Competition and the first solo cellist of Seoul Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and Yonsei Chamber. Moreover Miss Hwang has been joined countless master class programs such as M. Rostropovich, J. Starker, B. Greenhouse, S. Palm, A. Noras, V. Erben, T. Tsutsumi, E. Dindo, P. Roczek Young-chang Cho with great aptitude.
Cellist Hwang was admirably selected soloist with various Orchestras include Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Yonsei Orchestra, Hamburg Symphonie, Seoul Medical Orchestra. Furthermore, she was invited as a performer to Eckelshausen International Music Festival in Germany, Augsburg Musikfestipiele, Salzburg Sommerakademie Festspiele, Korea and Kenya 40th Anniversary Amity Concert, Beethoven Festival in Poland, Nantali Music Festival, Tenerife Music Festival in Spain.
Cellist Hwang consistently performed highly professional repertories such as the piece “Am Rande des Abgrundes” für 7 Celli und 2 Aquaphone by Sofia Gubaidulina who is one of the famous composers, in the Comtemporary Music Concert of Augsburg St. Ulrich; the music was released for the commercial CD from Wergo. Another greatest performance is nicely existed after Viktor Suslin’s “Chanson contre raison Sonata for Cello Solo” and Miss Hwang were admired greatly from the composer; he appraised with full of pleasant, “She is amazingly gifted musician!”
After graduation in Germany, she held many solo recitals in Seoul in arts center and Kumho art hall under sponsorship as a rising artist in Korean arts council and Italian cultural institute, and broadcasted  in KBS FM Radio several times. Also she honorably awarded “the Greatest New Musician of the Year 2006” held by Music Journal in Korea.

 

Currently she is a member of Korean Chamber Orchestra, a principal cellist in W Philharmonic Orchestra. Also she is not only an enthusiastic lecturer at Yonsei University, Sun-hwa Arts Middle School and High School, Kye-won arts middle school and Korean Chamber Orchestra Academy but also a candidater D.M.A. at Yonsei University.
